The St. Paul Desna Ukrainian Dancers was established January 1974. It was setup to promote Ukrainian culture through both music and dance. Under the artistic direction and instruction of Dave Ganert, St. Paul strives to stimulate the Ukrainian Arts and Culture within the community, share our cultural riches and preserve the cultural wealth of our past: the language, art, music and dance of our ancestors while setting new boundaries for the future. St. Paul has welcomed more than 600 dancers throughout our 45 year history and is excited to be a part of Edmonton's second annual UFest Edmonton's Ukrainian Festival!
