MITCHELL PALAHNIUK

Mitchell Palahniuk is a 21-year-old MacEwan University student studying Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music, Majoring in Performance on the Tenor Saxophone. Mitchell plays several different instruments including the tsymbala which he has been playing since the age of 10. 

He has performed at various events and festivals including the Vegreville Pysanka Festival, Baba's and Borscht, The Music Festival at the Ukrainian Village and the Byzantine Festival. He has performed his saxophone at several venues — the Yard Bird Suite in Edmonton, Smalls Jazz Club in New York City and KleinLife Theatre in Philadelphia — performing with the Viter Ukrainian  Folk Choir.

Mitchell is currently rehearsing with members of his new band which will soon be unveiled. Any suggestions for band names will be appreciated!
