Denis Bourdon, David Jerke, Jacqueline Kibsey, Nick Molella and Dianne Tebby all belong to the Edmonton Accordion Society - a non-profit group formed in 1995 that seeks to promote the accordion as a serious instrument.

Denis, Nick and Dave all started on accordion while they were young, raised families, retired and found time to come back to the instrument. Jacqueline and Dianne took a slightly different route and reached high levels of piano performance before taking up the accordion as adults. All of them now play solo or in small groups in places like retirement homes, parties, markets and other public places. David also repairs accordions while Denis heads up school outreach.
