Join us in beautiful Jasper, Alberta, on Saturday, January 16, 2027, for the fourth annual Mountain Malanka, presented by UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival in partnership with Tourism Jasper.
This unforgettable weekend brings together Ukrainian culture, music, food, and community in one of Canada’s most spectacular mountain settings. The celebration begins on Friday evening with our Pre-Malanka Pub Party featuring Neech at the Whistle Stop Pub, setting the stage for an incredible weekend of festivities.
Enjoy a delicious Ukrainian-inspired dinner, exciting cultural performances, and an evening of dancing and celebration. Featuring performances by the Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, Elegance Strings, and the high-energy sounds of Neech, Mountain Malanka promises an authentic and memorable Ukrainian New Year experience.
More than just a celebration, Mountain Malanka is a fundraiser supporting the UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival while bringing people together to celebrate Ukrainian heritage, culture, and community spirit.
